Cutting Horse is pleased to announce its investment in Cassi and partnership with founder James Sullivan.
Homes need better coordination
A home is one of the largest and most complex assets many people will manage, yet the information required to run it is often scattered across inboxes, text messages, documents, calendars, and individual service providers.
That fragmentation creates unnecessary work for homeowners and the professionals who support them. We believe there is room for a system that understands the home, organizes its history, and helps people act before small tasks become larger problems.
Why Cassi
Cassi brings home information, service history, vendors, tasks, and recurring routines into one coordinated platform. The product is designed to make the next action clear, whether that means assigning a job, preparing for a seasonal need, or keeping the right people aligned.
We are drawn to products that replace a collection of disconnected tools with a simpler operating layer. Cassi has the potential to make home management more proactive, organized, and useful over time.
Why James
James Sullivan began building Cassi around a firsthand understanding of how difficult it can be to coordinate the people, information, and recurring work behind a home. He has approached the opportunity by staying close to users and translating a broad vision into practical workflows.
James brings the judgment, humility, and persistence we look for in a founder at the earliest stage. We chose to partner with him from company formation because we share a long-term conviction in both the problem and the way he is building the solution.
What comes next
Cutting Horse will work alongside James and the Cassi team as they develop the product, learn from early users, build the organization, and establish a thoughtful path to market.
We are excited to support Cassi from the ground up as the team creates a better way to run the places people call home.
