Lucas Grossman

Lucas is an Associate at Cutting Horse, where he supports the firm’s investment efforts and leads AI initiatives across sourcing, diligence, and portfolio operations. He also works with portfolio companies on AI strategy and implementation to improve operations and support growth.

Lucas began his career in technology investment banking at D.A. Davidson before joining Comparables.ai as an early employee. There, he led revenue operations and North American go-to-market efforts, working across sales, product, and marketing as the business scaled.

He later co-founded an AI consulting business, advising investment firms and operating companies on integrating AI into their existing workflows. Lucas initially joined Cutting Horse as an Entrepreneur in Residence. He is particularly interested in helping founders use technology to improve operations and build stronger businesses.

Lucas earned his B.S. in Finance from Elon University, with minors in Computer Science and Data Science. He grew up in Wellesley, MA and currently resides in New York City. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, travel, and fitness. He is currently training for the 2026 New York City Marathon in support of The Fresh Air Fund.
